A Partner Workshop For Labor And Birth

  • Beantown Babies 20 Belgrade Avenue Boston, MA, 02131 United States (map)

For this workshop we'll be learning how to have your support person - a spouse, partner, family member, friend or doula - help you through the process of labor and birth. This includes the weeks leading up to birth and the transition into your fourth trimester. Our tools will include techniques to prime your body for birth, various laboring positions, learning accurate and effective use of acupressure to help ease pain and reduce delays in the progression of labor, and more.

About your instructors:

Lindsay and Emily are Beantown Babies' professional doulas who offer perinatal services tailored to match each families unique needs in the form of information, physical and emotional support. As doulas are often called away for birth, either Lindsay or Emily will be teaching at this workshop. Visit or for more.
